Dr. Deniz Pamuk

A Turkish gerontologist holding a PhD, she earned her bachelor’s degree in 2013, followed by her master’s degree in 2017, and completed her doctoral studies in 2024 at the Department of Gerontology at Akdeniz University. Her research interests include biographical aging, narrative gerontology, and spiritual aging. In 2021, she completed the Guided Autobiography (GAB) Instructor Training at the Birren Center for Autobiographical Studies. Her GAB research conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic earned her the Florence Gray-Soltys Award in 2022. Additionally, she serves as an advisory board member for the International Center for Life Story Innovations and Practice. Currently, she is a Research Assistant in the Department of Gerontology at Muş Alparslan University in Türkiye.
