Paola Riolo (Ph.D., Full Professor of General and Applied Entomology at the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences- Polytechnic University of Marche) is a professor of ‘Agricultural and Forest Entomology and Zoology’ and ‘Integrated Pest Management of stored products courses. Since 2021 she has been the Coordinator of the Bachelor’s Degree Course in 'Agricultural Science and Technology' and of the Master's Degree Course in 'Land and Agricultural Sciences' which hosts the 'Social Agriculture' training path.
At present she is involved in the project SILVER AGRI AGE-Longevity, intrinsic capacity and cognitive impairment into farmlands and natural environments: updating contexts following the “Montessori action” and in the PNRR VITALITY project-"Innovative models for socio-economic sustainability of rural areas". Moreover, she is involved in the experiment “Social-working inclusion initiatives for subjects affected by Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)” promoted by the Marche Region.
