Terence Seedsman is Emeritus Professor at Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia. His academic career has focused on ageing, gerontology, and intergenerational relationships. He has published widely on issues such as quality of life in later years, health literacy across the life course, autonomy and ethics in ageing, and the prevention of abuse among older and disabled people. Professor Seedsman has also contributed significantly to understanding how intergenerational solidarity can strengthen communities and social cohesion. Through his research, teaching, and publications, he has influenced policy and practice in the fields of ageing, health, and education.
