Yuko Nozaki is the associate professor at Yasuda Women’s University, and a Research Fellow at Global Labor Organization. A Japanese citizen, she taught at Hiroshima University and Kumamoto Gakuen University before coming to Yasuda Women’s University in 2018. Yuko received her B.A. from Sophia University and completed her Ph.D. in Economics at Hiroshima University in 2007. Her main fields of research are labor economics, the economics of education and applied econometrics with a special interest in human capital accumulation, employability, demographics and socioeconomic differences in child development, and econometric methods for program and policy evaluation. Her recent publication has focused on tracing the impact of major public policies, such as long-term care insurance and social isolation among elderly people.
